What is SlasProp?
SlasProp is a property registry and listings platform built by Slas Technologies. It links property listings to registry records, including Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) verification.
Is SlasProp live?
SlasProp is in pre-launch. Registry services, including C of O verification, are deployed. Other services described on this site are marked as on our roadmap until they launch.
Where does SlasProp operate?
SlasProp is being prepared for launch in Nigeria, starting with registry records such as C of O. New regions will be announced when they open.
Who can use SlasProp?
SlasProp supports 41 user roles across the property sector, including buyers, sellers, tenants, landlords, agents, developers, lawyers, surveyors and valuers.
Properties
How do I list a property on SlasProp?
Property owners and agents can list properties from their account once signed in. If you need help, contact us.
How are properties verified?
SlasProp can check a Certificate of Occupancy against registry records. A listing on SlasProp does not by itself confirm title. Carry out your own legal checks with a qualified lawyer before any transaction.
Does SlasProp value properties?
Automated property estimates are on our roadmap and are not offered yet. SlasProp does not provide valuation advice. For a valuation, engage a registered valuer.
What types of properties can I find on SlasProp?
Listings can include residential and commercial properties and land.
Payments
Does SlasProp handle payments or hold funds?
No. SlasProp does not hold or process customer funds. Escrow and payments through licensed partners are on our roadmap.
Does SlasProp offer escrow?
Not yet. Escrow through a licensed escrow partner is on our roadmap and not yet offered. Until then, SlasProp is not a party to any payment between buyers and sellers.
Are there any fees?
SlasProp does not charge fees yet; pricing will be published before launch.
Does SlasProp accept cryptocurrency?
No. SlasProp does not accept or process cryptocurrency or digital assets.
Security & Privacy
How is my data protected?
Data is sent over HTTPS and stored on Google Cloud. Access is controlled by user role, and registry actions are recorded with the acting user and time.
Do I need to verify my identity?
Identity checks may be needed for some roles and for any future payment services, which will be run by licensed partners. We will explain what is needed before we ask for it.
Is my financial information safe?
SlasProp does not process card or bank payments, so no payment card details are handled on the platform.
Documents
What documents are required to sell a property?
In Nigeria, sellers are commonly asked for a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), Survey Plan, Deed of Assignment, Governor's Consent (if applicable), Building Plan Approval, Tax Clearance Certificate and valid identification. Requirements vary by state, so confirm them with a qualified lawyer.
How are documents stored and protected?
Documents are stored in encrypted cloud storage on Google Cloud, and access is limited by account role.
Can I get help with document verification?
SlasProp does not provide legal services. The SlasProp directory of property professionals opens when the platform launches.
How do I verify if a property title is genuine?
Use Registry Services to check a C of O against registry records. For a full title search, including encumbrances, engage a qualified property lawyer.
Accounts
How do I create an account?
Select Sign Up and enter your details, including your role.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Select Forgot password on the sign-in page and enter your email to receive a reset link. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder or contact us.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Contact us to request deletion of your account. Some records may be kept where the law requires it.
