Terms and Conditions

Effective: March 4, 2026 · Version 1.0 · Nigeria & Canada

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using SlasProp. By accessing or using the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use SlasProp.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Slas Technologies Limited (“SlasTech”), incorporated under Nigerian law with offices in Lagos, Nigeria, and a branch in Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using SlasProp, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you warrant that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Description of Services

SlasProp provides property registry and land administration services including: property listing, search, and management; Systematic Land Title Registration (SLTR) workflow tools for Nigerian state governments; Certificate of Occupancy (C-of-O) application and tracking; GIS-enabled parcel mapping and boundary demarcation; secure document upload and verification; multi-stakeholder transaction management; integration with SlasPay (payments) and SlasIntel (AI analytics); and co-investment and co-renting agreement tools.

SlasProp is a technology platform. We do not act as a real estate agent, legal adviser, financial adviser, or government authority. Final authority over all land registration decisions rests with the relevant state government.

3. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age to register. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain account security, and not share your account. Professional accounts (lawyers, surveyors, valuers, banks, etc.) require credential verification. You must complete KYC verification before accessing transaction features. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

4. User Roles & Responsibilities

SlasProp assigns role-specific permissions. You are responsible for acting within your assigned role. Property Owners must ensure listing accuracy and disclose encumbrances. Real Estate Agents and Realtors must hold valid licences. Lawyers must maintain bar association membership. Surveyors must hold valid surveying licences. Government Officers must use SLTR tools only for lawful, authorised purposes. Using the platform to impersonate another role is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension and legal action.

5. Property Listings

Users creating listings represent that all information is accurate, they have legal right to list the property, the property is free of undisclosed encumbrances, and all documents are genuine. SlasProp may remove listings that violate these terms. We do not guarantee title accuracy. Buyers must conduct independent due diligence.

6. Transactions & Payments

Property transactions use SlasPay for payment processing and escrow, subject to SlasPay Terms. You must not use the platform for money laundering, fraud, or other financial crime. Transaction fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated. SlasTech is not liable for losses from third-party payment provider failures, regulatory blocks, or banking system outages.

7. Land Title Registration (SLTR)

SLTR workflow access is restricted to verified government officers with appropriate role assignment. All SLTR data is official government data subject to applicable law. Digital signatures applied through the platform are legally equivalent to physical signatures under the Nigerian Evidence Act (as amended). Certificate of Occupancy issuance through the platform is binding on the issuing state government and subject to the Land Use Act 1978 (Nigeria). Government partners are responsible for ensuring data integrity and the authority of officers using the system.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform intellectual property — software, algorithms, GIS visualisations, branding (SlasProp, SlasPay, SlasIntel, SlasTech, SFXIM), database structures, and documentation — is owned by SlasTech. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the platform within your assigned role. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or create derivative works. You retain ownership of content you upload and grant SlasTech a licence to process it as necessary to provide the services.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

We process your data under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, and the Canadian PIPEDA, as applicable. Your data is stored in AWS Canada (ca-central-1). We do not sell your data. You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your data. See our full Privacy Policy.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use SlasProp to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent property information or documents

  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract user or property data
  • Use automated bots without our written consent

Violations may result in immediate suspension, permanent ban, recovery of damages, and referral to law enforcement.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties. Nothing on the platform constitutes legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. SlasTech's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (a) amounts paid by you in the preceding 12 months, or (b) USD 100 equivalent. SlasTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SlasTech and its officers from claims arising from: your use of the platform; your breach of these Terms; your violation of third-party rights; content you submit; or your violation of applicable law.
